한국어초록   本稿의 目的은 다음의 셋이다. 1) 韓半島 北西 海岸에 位置한 두 地域의 指稱語와 呼稱語들을 整理하여 紹介하고, 2) 이 두 地域 方言의 資料들을 簡略하게나마 比較하고, 3) 이 地域의 指稱語와 呼稱語들을 그간 報告된 先行 硏究의 資料와 對照할 것이다. 이 가운데 가장 重要한 것은 旣存에 알려지지 않은 이 地域의 指稱語와 呼稱語를 紹介하는 것이다. 本稿의 調査 資料는 以北에서 直接收集된 資料라는 것에 重要性이 있다. 資料가 收集된 두 地域은 平安北道의 北部와 平安南道의 北部 地域으로, 각 地域마다 두 마을이 調査 對象으로 選定되었다. 平安北道에서는 龍川과 義州, 平安南道에서는 文德과 安州가 選定되었다. 두 地域의 指稱語와 呼稱語에는 若干의 差異와 類似가 보이는데, 本論에서 그러한 점들을 簡略하게나마 記述하고 있다. 또한 調査한 資料가 旣存의 硏究들의 資料와 質的으로 다르기 때문에 調査의 結果도 差異가 난다.

영어 초록

This paper has three aims. One is to show referring-terms and address-terms of two northwestern coastal dialects of Korean peninsula. On the basis of this, to compare these two regional dialectal data is another. And to compare this paper's data with related researches is the other. And of these, to introduce the new data is of the most importance. A major significance of this paper is that the material investigated here was collected directly in North Korea. One of us took part in this dialectal survey. The two regions are located in northern parts of Pyeonganbuk-do and Pyeongannam-do. And in each region, two towns are selected: Yongcheon and Uiju in Pyeonganbuk-do, and Mundeok and Anju in Pyeongannam-do. Two regional dialects are somehow similar and somehow different. In this article, we try to show such things roughly. For materials' qualitative differences, there are some differences between this paper's descriptions and previous literatures' descriptions. These are also listed in the article.
